Specialty Classes with Evan - Aug 7: Musicality (all levels) - Take your dancing to the next level and start incorporating the music. Aug 14: Cool Moves Class (beginner plus-intermediate) - More advanced turns and spins with a few surprises. Thursdays, 7-8pm, at Ong King Art Center, $15/class. Beginning Balboa Series - Join Kenny for three weeks of Balboa, another popular dance from the swing era. Danced close and tight, it's a great addition to your repertoire and particularly useful for those crazy fast songs. No partner (or dance experience!) necessary. Beginning Lindy Hop - Come out and learn to dance or brush up on your basics with the Hawai'i Jitterbug's Kai and Vivian. Our 6-week beginning swing class are held on Thursdays, 7-8pm; Sept 11, 18, 25, Oct 1, 8, 15. No partner or experience necessary! Series includes FREE admission to the Hawaii Jitterbugs' dance following classes on Thursdays from 8-11pm at Ong King Art Center. $60 for 6 weeks or $15/class (first night only).
